Hosted by the Benzie Audubon Club in cooperation with the Grand Traverse Regional Land Conservancy, this public hike takes participants along the universally accessible boardwalk of the Arcadia Marsh. Led by expert volunteer birders, the walk focuses on identifying migratory waterfowl, shorebirds, and songbirds that utilize the preserve as a critical stopover. It is an excellent opportunity for families to learn about local ecology and witness one of Michigan's rare coastal marshes in its fall splendor.
