The Bangor Apple Festival is the crown jewel of the city's annual calendar, celebrating its rich history as the 'Apple Center of Michigan.' Typically held during the second weekend of October, the 2026 festival features a grand parade, live musical performances, and a massive car show hosted by the local Lions Club. Families can enjoy carnival rides, professional wrestling demonstrations, and an extensive array of craft vendors and food booths in the downtown area. It is a quintessential autumn experience where visitors can enjoy fresh cider, homemade apple pies, and a vibrant community atmosphere.
