South Lyon Area Pumpkinfest

Now entering its fourth decade, the South Lyon Area Pumpkinfest is a beloved tradition that draws thousands to celebrate the autumn harvest. The 2026 event features a giant community parade, a full carnival midway with rides for all ages, and live entertainment on multiple stages. Families can explore the extensive 'Ultimate Pumpkin Venue' including pumpkin decorating, fall-themed games, and a wide variety of fair food favorites. For 2026, the festival grounds have been temporarily expanded to the Bartlett Elementary site to accommodate major downtown renovations.
