Hillcrest Avenue in Crescent Hill is famous for being Louisville's 'Halloween Street,' attracting thousands of visitors every year. While residents decorate throughout the month, Halloween night is the main event with organized trick-or-treating and a community festival atmosphere. Visitors can walk the several-block stretch to see elaborate yard displays ranging from horror movie tributes to whimsical puns. The event is free and managed in partnership with local law enforcement to ensure a safe, walk-only experience.
