Night of the Ghost Train

Held annually on Halloween night, this event transforms the Oak Leaf Trail bridge over Capitol Drive into a historical experience through the 'Ghost Train' art installation. Families gather in the nearby parking lots to participate in a costume contest and enjoy free refreshments while waiting for the train's simulated passage. The installation uses state-of-the-art LED lighting and authentic audio to recreate the speed and drama of the legendary 20th-century passenger train. Local businesses join the festivities by providing candy for children along the viewing path.
