trick-or-treat
Coral Gables' historic Miracle Mile closes to traffic for an afternoon of family festivities including balloon artistry and face painting. Participating businesses distribute candy to costumed children while local theaters like Actors' Playhouse present special musical performances. The event typically features a popular doggie costume contest and storytime at the local bookstore, making it a well-rounded neighborhood celebration.
