Spooky Science at Leila Arboretum

Spooky Science is a unique hands-on event held at the Leila Arboretum, focusing on the weird and wonderful aspects of nature. Children can participate in 'gross-out' science experiments, learn about nocturnal creatures like owls and bats, and explore the 'Fantasy Forest' sculptures by flashlight. The event often features a 'potion-making' station with dry ice and various botanical displays that highlight the darker side of plant biology. It is an engaging way for kids to celebrate the holiday while learning something new.
