A beloved tradition in Silver Spring, the Montgomery County Thanksgiving Parade features over 100 units including glittering floats, colorful dance troupes, and 12-foot inflatable turkeys. Families line the streets to see high school marching bands and the arrival of Santa Claus to herald the holiday season. The event is one of the region's longest-running holiday spectacles, drawing thousands of spectators from across the D.C. area.
