Lagniappe, meaning 'a little something extra,' is the grand kickoff for the holiday season in downtown Rochester. Merchants stay open late to show appreciation to the community, and the city officially flips the switch on the Big Bright Light Show. The entire main street is blanketed in multi-colored lights, creating a magical atmosphere that lasts through the new year.
