The Detroit Tree Lighting is a massive celebration that brings thousands to the heart of the city for a night of ice skating, live music, and holiday cheer. The event typically features professional figure skating performances on the Rink at Campus Martius and headline musical acts. The highlight is the countdown to lighting the towering Norway spruce, decorated with thousands of shimmering LED lights. Food trucks and the Cadillac Lodge pop-up tent provide warm refreshments throughout the evening.
