Held the week before Thanksgiving, this annual fun run allows participants to experience the five-mile Lightfest display without any vehicle traffic. The 8K course is entirely paved and illuminated by the festival’s millions of lights, creating a glowing environment for runners and walkers alike. It serves as a festive kickoff to the holiday season, promoting wellness while supporting the Wayne County Parks system. Registration usually includes a commemorative shirt and a finisher's medal.
