Bessemer Pumpkinfest

Bessemer Pumpkinfest is a multi-day celebration held during the peak of the Northwood fall colors to welcome the harvest season. The festival takes over Sophie Street with carnival rides, live music, and a large costume parade that delights children and adults alike. A major draw is the extensive arts and crafts fair held at A.D. Johnston High School, alongside a classic car show and a traditional antique tractor pull. With most events free to the public, it is the perfect way for families to experience local culture, delicious fall-themed food, and the community's warm hospitality.
