Celebrating Redford's connection to its European sister cities, the annual Oktoberfest is a massive community festival held in late September. The event features authentic German-themed music, traditional food, and a beer garden, alongside a diverse Business Expo hosted by the Chamber of Commerce. Families can enjoy specific 'Kids' Day' activities including bounce houses, face painting, hay rides, and a magician. The festival is well-known for its unique community games, such as the German-sausage tossing contest and mechanical bull rides.
