Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit partners with the community to host a family-friendly adoption afternoon on the lawn of the Allen Park Public Library. Community members of all ages are welcome to meet adoptable shelter pets in a relaxed outdoor environment. Library staff and shelter educators will provide animal welfare and literacy resources for pet-loving kids.
